クリスマスが終わって4日が過ぎました。日本ではクリスマスが
終わるとツリーはさっさと撤収、デパートだって「お正月商戦」に
乗り出します。
今日はセンターの事務所、詳しくは事務所が入っているビル
の様子をお伝えします。
今月23日、クリスマスを目前としたこの日、上海の出張から
帰ってきました。事務所の入っているビルのエントランスに一歩
足を踏み入れたところ、目の前に広がるのはデッカイツリー、
廊下の天井付近にズラリと張られたサンタのオジサンの顔、
シャンデリアからボンボンのような飾りが大げさに垂れ下がる
といった「クリスマスでお腹がいっぱいです状態」の風景でした。
会社ばかりが入るこのビルの中の、凄い迫力の飾り付けに
多少ビックリしましたが、年々賑やかになっていく北京のクリ
スマスに感心していました。
そして今日、エントランスにはデッカイツリーに廊下やシャ
ンデリアの飾り、クリスマスの余韻が残りっぱなしでした。
廊下ではたくさんのサンタがまだご健在でニコニコ笑っています。
いつになったら片付けるのかな・・・。これだけは6年前とちっとも
変わっていない北京のクリスマスなのでした。
