薬膳料理でよく謳われる”医食同源”は中国の周代王朝にいた「食医
（食べ物を管理する医者。そのまま？）」が始まりで、料理で身体を健康
にするという考え方が広がったと言われています。
中国では冬を過ごすための食べ物をこのように言っています。
「白菜豆腐保平安」
民間薬膳の言い方なのでしょう。冬に白菜と豆腐を食べると風邪を
引かずに健康で過ごせるという意味です。
西山病院に薬膳料理のレストランがあると以前から聞いてはいま
すが、まだ行けてないです。でもまずは「白菜豆腐保平安」の実践
からでしょうか。皆さんも水炊きなどを作るときにはぜひこの言葉を
思い出して試してみてくださいね。
