「春餅」とは、”餅”というまるで小麦粉で作ったクレープのような皮で
ニラや卵、春雨、ハムの細切り等など炒めた物を巻いて食べる料理。
北京には（もしかして中国全土？）１年間の健康を祈り、この春餅を
立春に食べるという風習があります。まるで日本の節分で食べる「恵方
巻き」みたいなものですね。
今日は立春、私たちスタッフ二人はそんなことはとっくに忘れたかの
如く、お昼を食べに行きました。スタッフ李は涼麺（胡麻だれ風味の
冷たい麺）が食べたいとのこと、事務所から徒歩２分ほどのところに
ある「双恵利レストラン」に向かいました。涼麺は昨年センターを退社
した植木さんの大のおすすめ。しかし私はまだ食べた事がありません
でした。心ウキウキで足取りも軽くレストランの門をくぐりました。
「涼麺２つ」とニコニコ顔で注文のスタッフ李。未だ見ぬ美食にデレ
デレ顔の私。待つ事５分ほど、レストランのオーナーであるオジサンが
顔見知りのスタッフ李に挨拶し、何を注文したのかと聞いてきました。
注文したものが涼麺であることを知ったオーナーは私たちに 「立春な
のに”春餅”食べないの？」と言い、周りの店員にこんなことを言いました。
「涼麺まだ作ってないなら、この２人に春餅だして！」
・・・。スタッフ李の顔には「あらららら・・・（汗）」と書いてあり、きっと私
の顔には「私の涼面がぁぁーーー！！！」と書いてあったことでしょう。
まるで死刑執行を待つかのごとく、涼麺を作ったかどうかを確かめに
行った店員を待つ私たち。と、店員は１分もしないうちに戻ってきて結
果を伝えてきました。
「涼麺、もう作ってますから・・・」
ホッ・・・。私たちはほぼ強制的な春餅を食べずに済んだというわけです。
私たち以外のお客は春餅を頼んでいましたが、実はあれも強制的だった
りして？というか、あの量は２人じゃ食べ切れませんよ・・・オーナー・・・。
涼麺の味はどうだったのかって？ナンバーワンじゃなくてオンリーワンな
味（古）、まさに美味でございましたっ！！！
