今朝早く、術後の傷口が痛みはじめ目が覚めたという
患者さん。痛み止めを打ってもらい日中は終始休まれて
いました。
背中の傷口が痛む為、寝返りも大変です。患者さん
は自分で寝返りを打とうと頑張っていましたが、傷口付近
に力が入ってしまいなかなかいい体勢を保てず。そこで
力持ちで定評のヘルパーさん（女性）に寝返りを手伝って
もらいました。ヘルパーさんは慣れた手つきで体の向きを
変えると、身体がずれて負担が掛からないよう背中と足の
間に枕を置きました。すると今まで苦痛にゆがんでいた患
者さんの顔がホッとした表情に。さすがプロ！
術後ちょうど１日が過ぎました。点滴と傷口の痛みは
まだ数日続きそうです。手術した本人にとってはとても長い
１日だったと思いますが、頑張って少しずつ乗り越えて
います。
